It’s been quite sometime since Camaro has been ahead in the sales race but for September 2016 Camaro U.S. sales outpaced those of the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger.
To be more precise, 6,577 Camaros were sold last month versus 6,429 Mustangs. The last time Camaro sales topped Mustang sales was back in October 2014.
The new generation Chevy Camaro outsold the Dodge Challenger as well, which sold 5,698 units.
With a Mustang refresh on the horizon, and if big incentives continue for the new generation Camaro, a trend may be forming. Only time will tell.
